Wednesday night, in the befittingly decayed ballroom at the Jane Hotel, designer Cynthia Mittweg premiered her fall 2011 AIKO collection with an art house film starring Lydia Hearst. The Los Angeles transplant’s known for her modern-day riffs on the classic sweatshirt, and this season she’s charted new territory with ruff riding easy-chic dresses, skirts, and leather pieces.
